We are currently looking for enthusiastic, energetic volunteers to help us deliver our Afrika Eye 2017 season. There will be opportunities to volunteer at the Film Festival itself (10th – 12th November) and at our pre-festival film and arts events over October and early November in venues across Bristol.
We offer a range of roles for people wanting to gain on-the-ground experience in the film festival industry, including:
guest liaison
ushering
front of house
children’s workshops support
marketing
documenting the festival (filming/photography/blogging)
As a volunteer, you’ll receive training from both the Afrika Eye team and from Watershed, our main venue. We’ll make sure you’re well-fed, give you a stylish Afrika Eye t-shirt and two free tickets to films of your choice.
